Porter Construction is a 3rd Generation business that started in the
early 1900’s with Jim’s grandfather, Fred Porter. Porter Drilling was
known throughout Santa Cruz County for it expertise and integrity
in the drilling business. Jim grew up alongside his father,
William Porter and grandfather learning the trade inside out.
In the early 70’s Jim Porter branched out. Realizing the needs in
this area, Jim took the family business beyond just the aspects of
drilling. Today Porter Construction can handle most projects
